I invite you to read a poem.
The Hoya Vine
Given to us long ago,
Placed in a vacant spot
Alive yet somewhat dormant
Year after year, just sitting in it's pot.
An old unused cat run,
Became it's new home
Taking up residency
It was now free to roam.
Still in a pot,
Just relocated
All those years
It had just waited.
The change was almost instant,
This vine spreading out every which way
For this plant,
It was a new day.
Long dark green leaves,
And the flowers are a spectacular spray
Like clusters of beautiful little buttons
Pale pink deepening in colour everyday.
